Rabbi Zecharyah Tzvi Goldman

Rabbi Zecharyah Tzvi Goldman is the son, grandson and great grandson of Orthodox ordained rabbis. His Talmudic and Halakhic teachers have included: Harav Hagaon Yehoshua Cohen, and Harav Hadayan Elchanan Tauber. He received Semicha from Bet Din Iychud Harabbanim of New York.

He has been a student and advocate of alternative medicine and health conscious eating for 17 years. Rabbi Goldman lives with his wife Ora Ahuva and children Yechezkel Meir, Betzalel Yehudah and Ateret Emunah in Englewood, New Jersey.

Rabbi Zushe Blech
Kashrus Administrator

Rabbi Zushe Blech is widely considered one of the world’s leading experts in modern Kosher food production and technology, serving for over twenty years in administrative and field positions relating to all aspects of Kosher certification. He served for fourteen years as a regional director for the Kashrus division of the Union of Orthodox Jewish Congregations of America (the “OU”), and has since served as a technical and Halachic consultant to virtually all of the major Kashrus certifying agencies worldwide. He has written and lectured throughout the world on the entire gamut of Kosher issues, and has consulted with a number of major food manufacturers to educate them on Kosher issues, obtaining certification, and resolving Kashrus issues. He is a foremost authority on the integration of all aspects of modern food technology with Kosher requirements, including those relating to such cutting-edge issues as biotechnology and enzymology. Rabbi Blech is the author of the encyclopedic work Kosher Food Production (Blackwell) the definitive work on Kosher certification and his articles on Kosher certification have been published by a variety of Kashrus organizations worldwide.

Mrs. Ora Ahuvah Goldman

Mrs. Goldman received her B.A. in Mathematics & Computer Science from University California of Los Angeles. She is the founder and President of Mekorma Enterprises, a software development company that specializes in accounting applications for business solutions. She is also the Co-Founder of Nodus Technologies, a software development company that specializes in electronic payment processing. Mrs. Goldman lives with her husband and children in Englewood, New Jersey.

Whichu W. Tsao M.A. L.Ac.
Chinese Liasion

EarthKosher's Chinese liaison is Whichu W. Tsao who is a licensed Acupuncturist with a B.S. and M.S. degree from North Carolina State University in Food Science. She has over 35 years of experience as a food technologist with expertise in diverse areas such as: regulatory issues, research and nutrition.

Tuvia Moshe Berzow M.A.

Tuvia Moshe Berzow is a teacher, writer, and mashgiach. He has studied torah with various rabbis, including a summer at Yeshiva Kol Yakov in Monsey, NY, as well as weekly chevrusas with the rabbis of the Portland Kollel. He resides in Portland, Oregon, with his wife Rivkah Yehudis, a naturopathic medical student at the National College of Natural Medicine.

Ms. Jeanne Litvin

Mrs. Jeanne Litvin hs served as the West Coast Editor of the Jewish Press for 15 years. She is also the director of the Baruch Litvin Foundation.

Rabbi Melvin Teitelbaum, Esq.
Legal Counsel

Our legal counsel is also a Rabbi. Presently, he maintains a private law practice in Los Angeles, which he has done for more than 20 years. He received his BA from Brooklyn College and his JD from Southwestern University School of Law in Los Angeles. His Yeshivah background includes the Yeshivahs of: Bais Hatalmud, Be'er Shmuel and Telshe in Cleveland. He studied under Torah giants such as Rabbi Hanoch Leibowitz and Rav Moshe Shisgal z"l and received his smicha from Yeshivah Marbeatze Torah. He served as Rabbi of Congregation Ahavath Israel in Los Angeles, California from 1978-1984. From 1980-85 he served on the Va'ad Hakashrus of the Rabbinical Council of California (RCC) including a rotation as its chairman during which he re-invigorated the institution and guided it through a historic court battle. He has developed a special expertise in supervising hotels for Passover, pioneering in the specialty for the RCC.

Rabbi Teitelbaum has also written numerous articles and conducted many seminars in the legal/Rabbinic field. He is the co-editor along with his wife Jeanne Litvin of The Sanctity of the Synagogue by Baruch Litvin which is a classic in the field of Mechitzah He is a scion of several great Chassidic dynasties including Nadvorne, Tomashov and Barditchev.
